National Park
1. Maszkowce Lake: Located in the central part of Roztocze National Park, Maszkowce Lake is a shallow, fishless lake that is a popular spot for birdwatching. The shallow water of the lake has a gravel bottom, which is ideal for wading birds. Aside from the local flora and fauna present at the lake, there are also some unique species, such as the rare Black Stork.
2. Landscape Reserve: This landscape reserve near Maszkowce Lake is renowned for its diversity of flora and fauna. The area comprises of several distinct habitats, ranging from parkland to wildflower meadows, and has been designated a protected area because of its cultural and biological importance. These natural habitats are home to a variety of animals, including red deer, roe deer, and wild boars, as well as a rich biodiversity of flora species like elms and ash trees.
