RL302-301M with Gas Discharge Tubes - GDTs Axial RoHS is a surge protection device manufactured by Ruilongyuan. It is a two-stage component that contains a shunt nonlinear resistor (GDT) and a parallel combination of a metal oxide varistor and a resistor. The GDT provides primary surge protection, while the parallel combination of MOV and resistor absorbs residual transients and prevents nuisanne oscillations, all while limiting inrush current. This surge protection device is suitable for applications that require lightning-level protection and operate at up to 860 volts, including industrial electronics, appliances, motors, and elevators. It has a maximum surge withstanding capability of 2 ka, a high current-withstanding capability of 5 k surges @ 8/20 µs, and a response time of less than 1 ns. It is RoHS compliant and is UL Certification approved for safety.
