TAR473
The MSFK A341/1/100/RT part of the SCHUTZINGER TAR 473 is a relay used in electrical circuit protection systems. It is designed to trip a circuit breaker or other load disconnect switch when an overcurrent or short circuit fault occurs. The relay has a highly sensitive current transformer, which measures the current flowing through the protected circuit and sends it to the relay’s trip unit. When the current exceeds a preset limit, the relay trips and disconnects the circuit. The MSFK A341/1/100/RT also includes an adjustable time delay feature, which can delay the trip point of the relay, allowing for a period of time in which the current must exceed the preset limit before the trip occurs. This can be adjusted from 0 to 10 seconds, allowing for greater flexibility in selecting the trip point. Additionally, the relay has LED indicators for trouble, trip, and current contacts.
