The BeagleBone Green (BBG) is a powerful, open source, and inexpensive development board developed by Seeed Studio. It is based on the popular open-source BeagleBone Black (BBB) single-board computer and comes with a special WiFi cape with dual antennas. The combination of all these features makes it a cost effective, low power, ready-to-go embedded computer ideal for both hobbyists and professionals. The BBG comes with two 46-pin headers, two micro HDMI ports, on-board gigabit Ethernet port and four USB ports. It is powered by a 1GHz AM3358 ARM Cortex-A8 processor, and coupled with 512 MB of DDR3 RAM and 4GB of onboard eMMC memory. It is a Linux ARM computer pre-configured with Debian operating system and supports Arduino, Python and Scratch programs. The BBG comes with numerous GPIO pins and connectors suitable to control a variety of external electronics such as motor controllers, sensors, relays and other input/output hardware.
