The IMU 9DOF V2.0 part of Seeed Studio is an inertial measurement unit (IMU) which consists of an accelerometer, a magnetometer, and a gyroscope. This version of the part is designed to measure either absolute orientation or relative movement by providing the processor with real-time velocity, acceleration, and angular rate information. The IMU 9DOF V2.0 is equipped with both an I2C and SPI interface, allowing for smooth transition of signals from the IMU to the main processor. It also has built-in digital motion processing algorithms, which can be used to generate headings or calibrate the device. The IMU 9DOF V2.0 is ideal for tracking body motion, calculating position, heading, and attitude, as well as monitoring vibration and general motion detection.
