Additional Infomation About Product

The PIR Motion Sensor from Seeed Studio is an electronic device that detects the presence of human beings by detecting the infrared radiation they emit. It can detect changes in infrared radiation between 0C and 50C, and is ideal for motion-activation applications, such as when a person enters a room. The PIR Sensor contains a Fresnel lens, a pyroelectric sensor, and a CMOS integrated circuit which processes the signals and outputs them in digital form. It also has adjustable sensitivity and activation time settings through onboard switches and a power saving mode which reduces power consumption when no motion is detected. It is easy to use and requires minimal setup.
