The SKT 40/04 D is a part of the Semikron family of schottky power diodes (SKDs), which are designed to provide robust, reliable semiconductor protection for systems with higher voltage and power demands. This SKD comprises of two Schottky barrier diodes which conduct in both forward and reverse, in a single-package of TO-220AC, with fast reverse recovery time. It is suitable for switching and rectifier applications in switching power supplies, motor controls, AC/DC converters, free-wheeling, and input/output circuits.
