SKYPER 32 R is a part of the Semikron product line and a module designed for the protection of the power semiconductor against short-circuits. It is designed for rectifier systems, such as for units with three-phase full bridges or single-phase, and it provides protection against short circuit currents and overvoltage. It also detects a fault situation by detecting the secondary current imbalance, and it comes with temperature monitoring as well as an open-circuit and cable short-circuit detection. With the help of a built-in delay function, the SKYPER 32 R will switch off the power semiconductor in the case of a short circuit or overvoltage.
