SC284AQ Dual Channel 2.5MHz, 1.7A Synchronous Buck Regulator POWER MANAGEMENT Features Description n V Range 2.75 5.5V The SC284AQ is a dual channel 1.7A synchronous step- IN down regulator designed to operate with an input n V Selectable 1.0 - 3.3V OUT voltage range of 2.75 to 5.5 Volts. Each channel o& ers n Up to1.7A Output Current for Each Channel seven pre-determined output voltages via three control n Package with Ultra-Small Footprint : 3 x 3 x 0.75(mm) pins programmable from 1.0 to 3.3 Volts. The control pins n Switching Frequency 2.5MHz allow for on-the- y voltage changes, enabling system n ciency Up to 94% designers to implement dynamic power savings. The n Low Output Noise in CCM SC284AQ is also capable of adjusting the output voltage n Excellent Transient Response via an external resistor divider. n Start Up into Pre-Biased Output The SC284AQ is optimized for maximum ciency over a n 100% Duty-Cycle Low Dropout Operation wide range of load currents. The device operates in PWM n Shutdown Current <1A mode with xed 2.5MHz oscillator frequency, allowing n Internal Soft-Start the use of small surface mount external components. n Input Under-Voltage Lockout n Output Over-Voltage, Current Limit Protection Connecting CTL0 CTL2 to logic low forces the device n Over-Temperature Protection into shutdown mode reducing the supply current to less than 1A. Connecting any of the control pins to logic n V Further Adjustable Using External Resistors OUT high enables the converter and sets the output voltage n PGOOD Feature according to Table 1.
