Additional Infomation About Product

The ZM4728A is a RoHS-compliant, surface-mount Zener diode chip manufactured by Semtech. It is designed to provide voltage regulation in low-voltage systems. This device is particularly useful for implementing reverse-polarity protection on Li-Ion/NiMH battery packs. The ZM4728A consists of two high-efficiency Schottky barrier diodes (LL-41) connected in series. The breakdown voltage of the diodes is up to 13V, allowing the device to provide up to 6.5V of protection. The ZM4728A is ideal for applications requiring higher temperature and higher surge-current capabilities. It features an ultra-low on-state leakage current, low capacitance, and fast recovery from over-voltage conditions. This provides an improved system protection for a broad range of low-voltage power systems.
