The MCPC1290E is a Sensata pressure switch designed for mobile equipment, such as trucks, generators, and off-road equipment. It is a single-pole, double throw (SPDT) switch which is capable of switching a voltage up to 12 amps at 60 VDC, with a switching capability of up to 90 psi (620 kPa). The MCPC1290E is constructed of plated steel which is highly resistant to corrosion, while its dielectric strength is rated at 170 VDC. The operational range is from 5 to 90 PSI, and the maximum overpressure limit is 100 PSI. The switch is IP65 rated for dust and water protection, and can be used in temperatures ranging from -40°F to +176°F (-40°C to +85°C). The MCPC1290E is manufactured and tested in accordance with quality management system standard ISO 9001.
