The CP2108-B03-GMR is a USB to Quad UART Bridge QFN64 I/O Controller Interface IC manufactured by Silicon Labs. It features an integrated USB 2.0 compliant PHY, a Quad UART Bridge, and four independent Quad UART Bridging ports. Each port supports both asynchronous and synchronous and can transfer up to 6 Mbps of data at up to 6.0 Mbps, depending on transfer mode selection. The CP2108 also supports communication with legacy devices such as a IEEE488/489, RS-232, TTL/CMOS, and IR ports. The CP2108 provides USB 2.0 and 1.1 backwards compatibility, and supports several operating systems including Windows, Mac, and Linux. It features an integrated power-on reset, brownout protection, and power-saving operating modes. The device can be easily used in Windows applications and applications that support PL-2303 HX/XD drivers.
