The Silicon Labs SI4730-D60-GMR is an automotive grade RF receiver designed for applications such as car audio, navigation and telematics. The device provides digital radio reception in a wide range of frequencies from 87.5 - 108 MHz (FM), 153 - 279kHz (LW), and 520 - 1710 kHz (SW). The 20-pin QFN EP package includes a low-IF receiver with integrated analog-to-digital converter, demodulator and processor. It supports both 3.3V and 5V supply voltages. The integrated audio processor is suitable for use in full-featured radio designs with RDS/RBDS processing, digital audio output support, FM Stereo Demodulation and Digital Audio Reception, and provides excellent performance in the presence of FM mono noise. In addition, it offers an antenna tuning system for diversity applications and improved robustness, and a range of digital filters and audio companding modes to further improve audio fidelity.
