The Silicon Labs SI8235BA-D-IS1 dual isolated gate driver is a 1 kV 8 V UVLO (under voltage lockout) device. It is designed to drive two independent high-side, low-side and bidirectional DC and AC powered FETs and IGBTs with a maximum of 0.5 A continuous/1.2 A peak drive capability. The gate driver provides two independent and isolated outputs, each of which has its own set of logic inputs and an enable pin. It also has a high-speed fault detect and reporting capability that allows the system to respond quickly and safely to any fault detection input.
