TSA7887 A Micropower, 2-channel, 125-ksps, Serial-Output 12-bit SAR ADC FEATURES DESCRIPTION Alternate Source for AD7887 The TSA7887 an alternate source for the AD7887 - Single-supply Operation: +2.7V to +5.25V is a self-contained, 2-channel, high-speed, INL: 1LSB - TSA7887B micropower, 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) 2LSBs - TSA7887A that operates from a single +2.7V to +5.25V power One or Two Single-ended Analog Inputs supply. The TSA7887 is capable of a 125-ksps Internal Wide-bandwidth Track-and-Hold throughput rate with an external 2MHz serial clock Internal +2.5-V Reference and draws 0.85mA supply current. Flexible Power/Throughput-Rate Management The wideband input track-and-hold acquires signals 0.85mA at 125ksps (Internal VREF ON) in 500ns and features a single-ended sampling 0.7mA at 125ksps (Internal VREF OFF) topology. Output data coding is straight binary and Shutdown-mode Supply Current: 1 A (max) the ADC is capable of converting full power signals SPI/QSPI/MICROWIRE/DSP-Compatible up to 2.5 MHz. The ADC also contains an integrated 1 Serial Interfaces 2.5V reference or the VREF pin can be overdriven by Operating Temperature Range: an external reference. -40C to +125C The TSA7887s provides one or two analog inputs 8-pin SOIC and MSOP Packaging . In each with an analog input range from 0 to VREF two-channel operation, the analog input range is 0V APPLICATIONS to VDD. Efficient circuit design ensures low power Instrumentation and Control Systems consumption of 2mW (typical) for normal operation High-Speed Modems and 3 W in power-down operation.
