IKASITIKA SIT232EPE is an RS232 IC in a SOP-16 package designed for data transmission. The device is RoHS compliant and features voltage levels of 3.0V – 5.5V for operation, and supports up to 115.2K BR for data transmission, and is usable for Point-to-Point and Multi-Drop Applications. It also features low power consumption, low EMI/RFI, programmable auto-flow control and programmable baud rate generators. Other salient features include Measured Bus Voltage monitor, CTS/RTS Handshaking, logic-level conversion and loopback test. The device can be used in a wide variety of applications such as Industrial Automation, metering, security, automotive or medical equipment, vending machines, and serial communications systems.
