The N8P2501DSG is a NXP (formerly Philips Semiconductor) 8-bit micro controller manufactured by SONIX in a SOP-8_150mil RoHS package. It is an enhanced 8051 compatible core that has been optimized for low power and low cost applications. The Nxp P89V51RD2 chip is an 8051 core processor with 64KB in-system programmable flash program memory and up to 2KB of Data RAM. It has 256 Byte of In-System Programmable EEPROM and 4KB of Internal Data RAM. The integrated peripherals include a one time programmable ROM, 4 timers, one UART, an 8-channel, 10-bit ADC, 1-wire master interface, I2C serial bus, SPI serial bus, and watch dog timer. It also features multiple power save modes, WDT, oscillator start-up timer, power-on reset and an internal temperature sensor. This device is RoHS compliant and can operate with supply voltages between 2.7V to 5.3V.
