SSTE18W is a part of Stig Ravn's System for the Treatment of Eating Disorders. It is an 18-week intensive therapy program, based on evidence-based practice, designed to help people with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge-eating disorder create sustainable behavioral change. Based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), SSTE18W includes three main components: psychoeducation, emotional regulation and body image. Through weekly individual and group therapies, this program assists the patient in developing a new way of relating to food, their body and their emotions.
