The L5991AD is a step-down switching regulator from STMicroelectronics. It is a highly integrated and efficient DC-DC converter featuring high switching frequency, and is capable of delivering up to 1.5A continuous current. The device integrates an internal power MOSFET, multiplier and current sense resistor, as well as a low-noise compensation network. It has a wide input voltage range of 2.5 to5.5V and adjustable output voltage range of 0.8 to 5.5V. The device also features an enable pin and a current limit pin to improve design flexibility. This device is suitable for low noise, low-cost and low idle-current applications.
