L6599D is a high-voltage gate driver integrated circuit manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It is designed to drive and control readers with large power MOSFETs and IGBTs in a variety of industrial applications, such as motor control, automotive applications and power factor correction. In addition to providing efficient gate drive capabilities, the L6599D also includes a variety of protection features to protect against pre- and post-breakdown conditions, along with a built-in temperature monitor to prevent over heating.
