The ST25DV16K-JFR6D3 with RFID Transponders 16-Kbit Dynamic NFC/RFID tag NFC Forum type V with I2C interface, fast transfer mode, and energy harvesting is a transponder manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It is a non-volatile 16 kilobit memory with an integrated NFC and/or RFID antenna, operating as a Type V NFC Forum tag. The tag is designed to allow a fast transfer rate of up to 848 kb/s, even for large data transfers of up to 12 bytes or more. The NFC Forum type V tag also operates at low power, with an extended operating range with a 3.3 V supply and support for an external power supply operating at 1.8 V. The tag also integrates and supports energy harvesting protocols, allowing the device to draw its power from external sources, including a solar cell. The device features a robust and immune I2C interface operating at up to 400 kHz and features an interrupt pin to detect various status conditions. The NFC/RFID tag is designed for a broad range of applications, including asset tracking, access control, customer loyalty, and authentication.
