The STM809LWX6F with Supervisor Integrated Circuit is a power on reset monitor (PoR) manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It is designed to monitor the power supply voltage on electronic circuits in a reliable manner for system start-up or resetting under continuous working power supply conditions. It is based on a unique detection circuit architecture that provides fast response time during power-up, ensures precise triggering of the reset signal in the case of brownout or line transients, and offers an extremely low power consumption over the entire range of operating supply voltage (VCC). The device also features a 8-bit configuration timer with an adjustable delay to keep the reset active for a predetermined amount of time following each power-up event. The device is ideal for embedded applications in applications such as consumer, industrial, automotive, military, and aerospace.
