River
The 117113 part of Sumida River is located in the Komatsugawa district of central Tokyo and is part of the Arakawa River, the main tributary of the Sumida River. It has a length of roughly 10 kilometers and flows from the south-east end of the Daibosatsu Pass, close to the suburb of Toda, and eventually empties into the main portion of the Sumida River. It is a popular destination for fishing and recreational activities due to its many small, picturesque islands and tranquil atmosphere. In spring and summer, the river is surrounded by cherry blossoms, giving it a tranquil, peaceful atmosphere that encourages relaxation and contemplation. Along its banks and on the islands, many traditional Japanese shrines and temples can be found, which are a testament to the importance of the river and its surroundings in Japanese culture.
