Electronics The 1357-AC PLUG W3U (ENGLAND) is a type of AC plug manufactured by Sunny Electronics. It is designed to fit electrical sockets in the UK, Ireland, and Malta and is used for transferring power from one source to another. It has three pins arranged in an upside-down U-shape. The first pin is the hot pin which is always live, the second is the neutral pin, which is normally live but can be switched off, and the third is the earth pin, which is used as a safety guard to protect users from any potentially lethal electric shocks. This plug is rated to 10 amps and is suitable for most domestic appliances.
