The SK315B M4G with Schottky Barrier Diodes (SBD) SMB RoHS manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductor is a surface mount, 3-terminal, unidirectional, low drop-out voltage regulator. Its wide operating temperature range, low dropout voltage and ultra low quiescent currents make it ideal for battery operated systems. The device is optimized for use with loads up to 15A. The Schottky Barrier Diodes provide a high reverse current leakage resistance while at the same time providing a low forward voltage drop of 390mV. The SBDs also provide excellent heat dissipation in comparison with PN junction diodes. This device is lead free and compliant with the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive. It is suitable for use in a variety of applications, including hand-held devices, automotive, LED drivers, consumer electronics and many more.
