MAX6173MAX6177 High-Precision Voltage References with Temperature Sensor General Description Features The MAX6173MAX6177 are low-noise, high-precision  Wide (V + 2V) to +40V Supply Voltage Range OUT voltage references. The devices feature a proprietary  Excellent Temperature Stability: 3ppm/C (max) temperature-coefficient curvature-correction circuit and  Tight Initial Accuracy: 0.05% (max) laser-trimmed thin-film resistors that result in a very low 3ppm/C temperature coefficient and excellent 0.06%  Low Noise: 3.8V (typ at 2.5V Output) P-P initial accuracy. The MAX6173MAX6177 provide a  Sources up to 30mA Output Current TEMP output where the output voltage is proportional to  Low Supply Current: 450A (max at +25C) the die temperature, making the devices suitable for a wide variety of temperature-sensing applications. The  Linear Temperature Transducer Voltage Output devices also provide a TRIM input, allowing fine trimming  +2.5V, +3.3V, +4.096V, +5.0V, or +10V Output of the output voltage with a resistive divider network. Low Voltages temperature drift and low noise make the devices ideal  Wide Operating Temperature Range: -40C to for use with high-resolution A/D or D/A converters. +125C The MAX6173MAX6177 provide accurate preset +2.5V,  No External Capacitors Required for Stability +3.3V, +4.096V, +5.0V, and +10V reference voltages and accept input voltages up to +40V. The MAX6173MAX6177 do not require an output bypass capacitor for stability, and are IN stable with capacitive loads up to 100F. Eliminating the REFERENCE OUT OUTPUT output bypass capacitor saves valuable board area in space-critical applications. * MAX6173MAX6177 * The MAX6173MAX6177 are available in an 8-pin SO TEMP TRIM package and operate over the automotive (-40C to +125C) temperature range.
