The LF398M/NOPB is an integrated circuit (IC) manufactured by Texas Instruments, which is an 8-Pin JFET-input operational amplifier with low input offset voltage. It features low noise, low total harmonic distortion, high speed and stability coupled with low power consumption, making it suitable for a wide range of mostlyaudio, video and instrumentation applications. Other features include a 7MHz -3dB bandwidth and a large slew rate of 14V/µs. This IC operates over an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Typically it is used in high voltage AC motor control, as an automotive onboard gas gauge, for microphone preamplification, for modulation and for driving noisy power rails.
