The LM2576HVT-12/NOPB by Texas Instruments is a buck switching regulator IC positive fixed 12V 1 output 3A TO-220-5. It is a high-performance step-down voltage regulator perfect for medium and low power applications. With a low quiescent current, the LM2576HVT-12/NOPB has a wide input voltage range of 6V to 40V. It has 3A of maximum output current in a TO-220-5 Package. This allows for a space-saving circuit solution. The LM2576HVT-12/NOPB has an adjustable output from 1.23V to 37V and its fixed output version is 12V. It includes a fixed frequency oscillator and built-much protective features like over-temperature protection, over-current protection, and shortcircuit protection. It also features low ripple, low noise, and excellent line and load regulation. In addition, the LM2576HVT-12/NOPB has current-limit protection and operates at frequency ranges up to Fsw = 500kHz.
