The Texas Instruments LM2577T-ADJ is a monolithic switching regulator IC designed to convert a voltage higher than the regulated output voltage to one lower than the regulated output voltage. It is ideal for use in boost, flyback, and forward converter switching regulator designs. It features an adjustable 1.23V output, 3A switch current, and a TO-220-5 package. The device also provides excellent line and load regulation, low input ripple and noise, high efficiency voltage conversion, and a wide input voltage range. The LM2577T-ADJ also offers soft-start, short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, and an enable/disable feature.
