The LM2594M-3.3/NOPB is a Buck Switching Regulator IC manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is a positive fixed three point three volt regulator with a single useful output of 500mA. It is packaged in an 8-SOIC package, with a width of 0.154" and a height of 3.90mm. The LM2594M is an ideal device for regulating and controlling the output current in applications where low noise, low ripple and high efficiency are desired. The buck regulator reduces the input voltage and delivers the required output voltage with just one switching transistor, allowing for a very small size, high efficiency, and low cost. The LM2594M is also capable of providing up to 94% efficiency due to its low switch-on resistance and hot-switching capability.
