The LP3855EMP-5.0/NOPB is a low-power, low-noise, high-efficiency, 7-V, 1.5-A, ultra-low-dropout (ULDO), voltage regulator with an enable pin. It is manufactured by Texas Instruments and comes in a 4-pin SOT-223 package for surface mounting. It has a thermal shutdown, short-circuit protection, and reverse-battery protection. It provides up to 1.5-A output current at a dropout voltage of 60 mV, and it has an enable pin to enable the output voltage. It operates over an extended -40°C to 125°C temperature range and is designed for applications such as low-noise logic supplies, pre-regulators, power amplifiers, and charge pumps.
