The PCM2900CDBR is a stereo, USB 1.1 CODEC manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is an integrated recording and playback device with a 24-bit stereo delta-sigma CODEC and an on-chip USB controller. The PCM2900CDBR is designed for full-bandwidth, low-noise audio reproduction with support for both 16 and 24 bit PCM formats as well as sample rates up to 48 kHz. The device also provides two analog input channels, an on-chip analog mixer, a programmable ADC, a built-in headphone amplifier, and a microphone preamplifier.
