The SN75179BD is a high-speed differential line driver designed and manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is a dual line driver with three-state control that is designed to drive a pair of balanced/differential, high/low impedance transmission lines. The IC features independent current sources to drive each output and a wide supply voltage range with common mode voltage range up to VCC. This line driver can transmit digital data at high speeds and is ideal for applications such as 3.3V, 1.5V, 5V and 15V signalling. The device is available in 14-Pin DIP, SOIC, and TSSOP packages.
