The TAS5782MDCAR Audio Amplifier from Texas Instruments is a 30-W, digital input, stereo, closed-loop class-D amplifier with 96-kHz flexible processing. It is packaged in a 48-HTSSOP (Heat Slug Solder Progression) package and operates over a temperature range of -25 to 85 °C (-13 to 185 °F). This amplifier is suitable for audio applications such as audio amplifiers, automotive audio systems, media equipment, home theater systems, speaker drivers, soundbars and active speakers. It features an adjustable low pass filter, high pass filter, band pass filter, two-way crossover and a limiter to provide a full range of features for audio applications. Additionally, it supports FLEXISOUND™ technology, which allows dynamic adjustment of the audio signal from the processor to the amplifier in both frequency and amplitude. It offers industry-leading efficiency (>90%) and high output power, while maintaining low THD+N and a broad frequency range. It has a low operating voltage of 3.3 V and a logic interface to control the on-chip functions.
