It is a voltage regulator with an absolute maximum voltage rating of 6V and an adjustable output current limit of up to 30-125 mA. The device operates at supply voltages from 2.2V to 5.5V and comes in a 7-VQFN-HR –40 to 125 package, a lead free, halogen free, and RoHS compliant package. The TPS61230ARNSR features integrated switches with an internal Power Conversion Stage (PCS). It utilizes a patented current-mode control architecture for excellent line and load transient response. The TPS61230ARNSR is suitable for use in a variety of applications, including industrial, automotive, and distributed power systems.
