The TPS62120DCNT is an integrated, high-efficiency, synchronous step-down converter manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is designed to efficiently convert a 5V to 22V input range down to an adjustable output of 0.6V to 5V. It can deliver up to 75mA of output current and has an efficiency of up to 96%. The switching frequency of this device is adjustable from 100 kHz to 1.5 MHz, enabling the design of a filter-less solution. It features advanced current-mode control that enables excellent line and load regulation, while a low-noise operation is ensured. The switcher can operate with an input voltage of as low as 1.65V, allowing for both battery and USB operation. It includes built-in fault protection features like overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown.
