This device is suited for automotive, industrial, and other applications in which a cost effective, low noise, and space-saving solution is required. It provides high efficiency operation, foldback current-limit protection, and thermal shutdown protection. This device offers excellent load and line regulation over a wide voltage range. It also offers an adjustable switching frequency up to 1.5MHz, and a low profile 3x3 QFN package with an exposed pad for improved thermal performance. The output voltage of the TPS6213013AQRGTRQ1 can be adjusted up to VIN, making it suitable for Step-Down conversions from high input rails such as 12V, 16V, and 24V sources.
