The TPS62740DSSR from Texas Instruments is a low power, integrated, load switcher and boost converter with an integrated switch and power MOSFET. Designed to provide an efficient solution for small, battery powered devices, it has a 360-nA Iq (quiescent current) that ensures ultra-low quiescent current consumption. The TPS62740DSSR provides a wide input voltage operating range from 1.7 V to 5.5 V with an adjustable output of up to 5.2 V. It is designed to support 4.1 V Li-ion batteries and is capable of handling load current up to 1.2 A. It integrates a current and thermal limit function to minimize battery power consumption.
