The TPS62822DLCR from Texas Instruments is a two-terminal, current-mode synchronous step-down (buck) voltage regulator that is capable of delivering up to 2A of output current over a wide input voltage range of 2.4V to 5.5V. It packs a wide efficiency range and fast transient response into a tiny VSON-HR 8-pin 1.5mm x 2mm QFN package that can operate over -40°C to 125°C junction temperature range. Through the proprietary HyperLight Load (HLL) 5.5V wide V IN range, low quiescent current and the Precision Enable feature, the TPS62822DLCR achieves high efficiency, small form factor, and low power consumption while maintaining±1% accuracy across the full line and load range.
