D-643 is a chemical compound produced by Triad Group. It is a semi-solid, white colored material used primarily as an industrial chemical intermediate in the manufacture of various coating products, adhesives, sealants, and plastics. It is a product of Triad's patented Oligomerization Process, which combines two chemical compounds originating from natural sources—itaconic acid and maleic anhydride—in order to produce the unique, high-performance characteristics of D-643. These characteristics include excellent adhesion, chemical resistance, thermal stability, and high electrical insulation properties. D-643 is used in the production of sealants, coatings, grouts, adhesives, and other specialty compounds for use in numerous industries, such as the automotive, industrial, aerospace, and construction industries.
