The TS9514, manufactured by Trusignal Microelec, is a specialized, low power QFN-16 RoHS (Restriction on Hazardous Substances) compliant sensor. This device is a fast-response, 9-axis inertial navigation system (INS) which combines a 3-axis digital angular rate sensor (AR), 3-axis accelerometer with up to 16g capability, and a 3-axis magnetometer for use in stable attitude determination, motion sensing, navigation, orientation detection, and more. It integrates a 32-bit ARM Cortex M4 RISC core core for on-chip digital signal processing, and features an I2C, SPI, and UART interface for data communication. Other features include an integrated voltage regulator for single supply operation, low power consumption, and up to ±1200 °/s output range. The TS9514 is well suited for applications in portable electronic devices, such as wearables and smartphones, for consumer markets such as fitness and health monitoring.
