The MH-6 is a light utility helicopter manufactured by the American aerospace company, Textron Aviation and its military division, Bell Helicopter. The MH-6 is based on the proven OH-6A Cayuse helicopter and is specifically designed for special operations missions. It is equipped with advanced avionics, navigation, communications and weapons systems. The MH-6 is capable of performing extreme mission profiles, such as low-level reconnaissance and insertion/extraction of forces under difficult terrain and climate conditions. It is also equipped with defensive equipment such as infrared jammers, flares, and radar warning receivers. The MH-6 is used by the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM), and other military forces around the world.
