The 10JA8 is an industrial-grade vacuum tube produced by the Japanese manufacturer Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo (TTK). It is a twin triode designed for audio and radio frequency electronic applications. The 10JA8 can be used in preamps, power amplifiers, oscillators, and all kinds of audio circuits including tone stacks, equalization, and filtering. In some applications, the 10JA8 produces a unique and warm sound that can give fullness, presence and smoothness to guitar, bass and other musical instruments. The 10JA8 is a reliable, high-gain tube and its filament draws 1.2A of current, while its maximum plate voltage is 400V. It is designed to operate at a range of cathode voltages and has superior noise and microphonic characteristics.
