The 22BW3 is a transmitting tube produced by the RCA Corporation. It is a medium-mu, dual-grid, directly-heated triode that was used in radio transmitters and amplifiers. The tube has an anode dissipation rating of 8 watts, a maximum plate voltage of 400 volts and a peak plate current of 15 milliamperes. The 22BW3 was designed for use in the audio-frequency and low powered RF stages, and had an unusually low noise figure.
