The LM7805 TO-220 RoHS is a low dropout (LDO) voltage regulator manufactured by TuoFeng. This three-terminal device is designed to provide a fixed 5V output voltage with very low dropout voltage, and is able to deliver up to 1.5A of continuous output current. Its internal architecture consists of an adjustable current reference, a comparator, an output buffer, and an overload protection circuit. This LDO provides excellent line and load regulation, and low output noise voltage. Additionally, this device features an internal thermal shutdown circuit to protect itself from long-term overload.
