The USR-K5 RoHS Communication Module is a compact, feature-rich industrial-grade serial device server that provides secure remote serial device access and management over Ethernet or Internet networks. It is designed to allow users to remotely control, manage, and configure various RS232/485 serial devices, such as PLCs, CNCs, RTUs, HMIs, and modems. It supports multiple networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP/IP, and TLS/SSL for secure communication. It supports baud rates of up to 115.2Kbps, 16 data bits, one or two stop bits, and even/odd/none/mark/space parity bit support. The USR-K5 also features a built-in watchdog timer and an operating temperature range of -20°C to +75°C, making it ideal for industrial applications. In addition, it is compliant with the international electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standard EN 61326-1.
