Additional Infomation About Product

The 1806 was a high-end, professional-grade design produced by Visaton. It featured a larger than normal 18-inch woofer, and a horn-loading midrange driver. Additionally, the design featured a complex labyrinth of acoustic foam and insulation in order to effectively dampen resonance and increase output. Although featuring a 3-way design, the woofer used a passive crossover at around 2kHz, while the tweeter received active crossover at 4kHz. The result was a punchy, bass-heavy design with natural mids and a balanced top end—an ideal choice for both live performance and studio applications.
