DG1408, DG1409 www.vishay.com Vishay Siliconix 3.2 , 8-Channel / Dual 4-Channel, 15 V, +12 V, 5 V Precision Multiplexers DESCRIPTION FEATURES The DG1408 is a precision analog multiplexer comprising 35 V supply max. rating eight single-ended channels. The DG1409 is a dual four 3.2 typical and 4.7 max. on-resistance at single-ended channels analog multiplexer. Built on a new 25 C CMOS process, the Vishay Siliconix DG1408 and DG1409 0.5 on-resistance flatness offer low on-resistance of 3.2 . The low and flat resistance Channel to channel on-resistance match: 0.2 over the full signal range provides excellent linearity and low signal distortion. The new CMOS platform also ensures ultra Up to 250 mA continuous current low power dissipation, minimized parasitic capacitance, and Supports single and dual supply operation low charge injection. Fully specified at 15 V, +12 V, and 5 V The DG1408 and DG1409 can operate from either a single Integrated VL supply 4.5 V to 24 V power supply, or from dual 4.5 V to 15 V Low voltage logic compatible inputs, V = 2 V, V = 0.8 V power supplies. The DG1408 connects one of eight inputs IH IL to a common output as determined by a 3-bit binary BBM (break-before-make switching) address (A0, A1, A2). The DG1409 connects one of four Low parasitic capacitance: inputs to a common output for both multiplexers as DG1408, C = 14 pF, C = 123 pF S(off) D(on) determined by a 2-bit binary address (A0 and A1). DG1409, C = 14 pF, C = 81 pF S(off) D(on) Break-before-make switching action protects against Rail to rail signal handling momentary crosstalk between adjacent channels.
