It has high sensitivity and is designed for a 40 kHz frequency. The Vishay Electronic Package (VEP) provides excellent optical and mechanical performance in a tight space. The AGC5 receiver offers low power consumption and industry-standard 35 x 14 x 6.1 mm form factor. It is designed for use in consumer products such as STB, VCR, AC, and DTV remote-control systems. The TSOP98540 offers excellent noise immunity for reliable operation within a range of working voltages. The package includes IR suppression filters that block out ambient light and an internal automatic gain control (AGC) circuit that ensures excellent performance in dynamic light conditions.
