The VS1011E-L is a highly integrated VLSI CMOS audio chip with a built-in Digital Signal Processor (DSP). It can be used for a wide range of audio applications such as PCM music playback, MP3 audio, Ogg Vorbis, and audio/voice recording. The chip also supports a wide range of audio and voice coding formats, including non-PCM audio, such as WMA and AAC. The digital interfaces of the chip are I2S, S/PDIF, and three digital microphone interfaces (DMIC). The chip features low-power consumption, low THD+N, high SNR, and a wide dynamic range. It also features digital equalization, volume control, and audio mixing.
